For men of a certain age, the delectable Ms Agutter, via a variety of roles, made an impact that cannot be overstated.
A few years ago, I went to her London home to interview her for a documentary about working with Nic Roeg on Walkabout. She was, needless to say, extremely delightful and made us all tea.

I just watched WALKABOUT a few weeks ago and man, was she so good in that film. And, of course, LOGAN'S RUN. Good to know that she is just as delightful in person.
About 10 years ago, I was having lunch in Livebait on The Cut near Waterloo station. Halfway through my John Dory, I looked up to see Jenny Agutter (for it was she), who was sitting on a table across the aisle, looking straight at me, and totally checking me out. Well, I thought she was. My dining companions were less sure, but hey, a boy can dream.
I would have been around 12 when I first saw American Werewolf in London. It made a huge impression on me, as you can imagine. And as someone once said, it couldn't have done English tourism any damage either. She's a national treasure!
@ JD
Walkabout is a masterpiece. IMHO.
@ Adam
Hahahahahahaha...
@ Hal
I figure it won't be too long before she's listed!
