The delightful young Australian is in talks to star for director Gus Van Sant in Restless which, according to the Hollywood Reporter, is dark coming-of-age drama which delves into the complex tale of a teenage boy and girl who share a preoccupation with mortality. Bryce Dallas Howard is producing Restless with her father, Ron Howard, and Brian Grazer. Jason Lew, with whom the younger Howard went to film school, wrote the script, based on his play.

The director, Spencer Susser, recently shot his feature debut, Hesher, with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Natalie Portman.
