Empire has the exclusive on James Cameron´s Avatar and I look forward to reading it upon my return. While I missed out on the Avatar Day fun (as well as the internet post mortem), I have watched the trailer a few times and have to say that I feel much more positive about the movie than before.

I enjoyed the trailer enough, but it did serve to lower my expectations. Avatar Day, however, was pretty damn gobsmacking. There were moments I caught myself with my jaw literally slung open.
Well, we've only got four — count 'em — months to go now...
I saw the footage they showed at Avatar Day and totally loved it.
I'm hearing the 3D IMAX stuff was amazing.
