Loving Dollhouse

I must admit, I wasn't sure at first. But then it all clicked for me during the episode Man On The Street in which Federal Agent Paul Ballard's moon-eyed neighbour Mellie turned out to be a sleeper active named November, and I suddenly started to have a sense of where Joss Whedon was going with it. Can't wait for the above box set to watch it advert free.

I watched the original pilot episode earlier today - I have no idea why FOX scrapped it and had them do it again. (Well, I know why but do not ultimately understand.) It is a MILLION times better and wouldn't have left anyone unsure of what they thought like the first half of the season did.

Listening to Jed and Maurissa's commentary on Epitaph One now as I go to sleep.

So you have the box set already? Lucky you. It's out in September here in the UK.

Just watched the episode where Alpha turns up. Now have to wait — agony — a week to see what happens next...

I do, indeed. Well, I'll be here waiting for September as much as you are... but my wait is for the season premiere of Glee.

But back to Dollhouse! Alpha's first TRUE appearance - when Dr. Saunders sees him - how excellent was that entrance shot? It was so B-movie of the show.

That entrance, that episode, was great television. Truly great television. Two more episodes to go. Well three. Apparently we're going to get Epitaph One, as well.
