As someone who really liked Ang Lee's take on the
Hulk, I was always a tad dubious about the need to reboot the franchise quite so soon. But Ed Norton's a first-rate actor, and I do have a soft spot for director Louis Leterrier's
Transporter movies. Plus the first trailer looked promising. And now
this. Consider me sold.

I dunno. The CGI looks a little dodgy. And is it just me or does NEW Hulk look like a WWE wrestler raging and steroids? If the big green guy doesn't say, "HULK SMASH!" I will be majorly disappointed.
It's funny, I showed it to a friend of mine today who's a comic book writer (although he's never written the Hulk) and he was decidedly unimpressed.
your comic book writer friend is a loser comic book writer who doesn't know what awesome is.
unfortunately, JD, i HIGHLY doubt that HULK SMASH will be in the movie. that would mean that they give the hulk dialog in general.
i, too, loved the ang lee flick. i don't care what everyone else says, i was entertained FAR more than i was at superman returns.
Yeah, I liked Ang Lee's take too. It's enjoying an interesting, if not cautious, reappraisal. I also enjoyed SUPERMAN RETURNS as well but for different reasons.
I have a feeling that this new Hulk movie will have a strong opening weekend and then trail off as word of mouth kills it.
I'd be careful calling my comic book writer friend a "loser" if I were you, cos you wouldn't like him when he's angry...
