Even more scary movies

I saw Dracula Has Risen From The Grave for the first time on television when I was seven — yep, seven — and it scared the hell out of me. (Well, duh!) On a more positive note, it made me the horror film fan I am today. So that's alright then.

This is starting to creep me out...

Not only are you running through a list of my perennial faves, but I'm actually wearing my Dracula Has Risen From The Grave shirt right now...

Christopher Lee. Best.

That is just plain spooky.

Let's see if today's choice hits the same spot.

Now I just need to get one of those DHRFTG t-shirts...

I met Christopher Lee once, on the set of Sleepy Hollow. Danny Elfman was there that day too, and he came armed with a host of Lee/Dracula stuff to get signed. Once a fan, always a fan...

You met Christopher Lee? On the set of Sleepy Hollow? And Danny Elfman was there?

In the words of the mighty D... "That's a cream dream."

I actually watched Sleepy Hollow again about three nights ago (I recently upgraded to a nice big plasma and realised I was yet to watch a Burton on it). Still, in my opinion, pretty much the best-looking film ever made. Not to mention pitch-perfect and deliriously entertaining. One of my all-time very faves.

Sleepy Hollow's DP Emmanuel Lubezki is not only a genius but officially the nicest man in the world. His work on Children of Men was sensational and he deserved the Oscar but, of course, they gave it to the pretty looking movie once again.

I could not agree more.
