Yep, even more scary movies

I love Quatermass. Be it the original TV version, Hammer's, or John Mills' 80s incarnation. My favourite of all, though, is Quatermass And The Pit, the third of Hammer's three Q films, and, for me, the scariest of the lot. Okay, so the Martians are a little laughable nowadays, but the conversation about Hobb's End and all the spooky goings on therein always chills my blood, no matter how many times I see it.

You know what?

I am obviously aware of all that is Quartermass, but have thus far managed to view a grand total of zero of it's various incarnations.

Me? FAIL.

Don't worry, I'm not going to hold it against you.

I'd check out any of the Hammer films if you get the chance or else Carpenter's Prince Of Darkness which is Quatermass in all but name although the script's credited to one Martin Quatermass...

Yeah, I've always wanted to see the Hammer stuff as I'm massively in love with all that is Hammer.

And wow, really? I actually own Prince of Darkness and feel quite the dolt for not having ever been aware of the (unofficial) connection!
