Back from New York

Arrived home in the UK today, and am currently too exhausted to write. However, I will say this, the Tim Burton exhibition at MoMA is extraordinary. Extraordinary. I was lucky enough to go to a sneak preview on Monday night, and I'm still buzzing from it. I promise to post a full report soon. With photos.

*holds breath*

So glad to hear it. I've been in touch with a few net friends who've checked it out, too, each of whom are equally effusive about its impressiveness.

Meanwhile, the cost of shipping the deluxe edition of the art book to Australia looks to be nothing short of murder. Still waiting for a quote from the UK stockist, mind...

I brought myself a copy of the standard edition while I was at MoMA. Boy is it heavy. My suitcase is still sulking...

Gerard is right, the shipping price to the UK floored me. Don't think I could get away telling the wife I've spent £251.24 on the book. I'll keep my eyes open for a UK stocklist fo all of us

I believe that Forbidden Planet in London will be stocking it.

They are indeed Mark, not that I won't get killed by the wife for paying £190!

Infact the £50 edition is starting to look like the sensible option!

Thanks for finding it for me...

It's a bargain at £50, I have to say.
