John Hillcoat's gruelling adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's
The Road finally arrives in US cinemas on limited release this Thanksgiving. I
liked it and so
does the
New York Times. I urge you to see it.
Wired has a
great article on the film's journey to the screen.

We don't get this til the end of January. And Icon are literally the one major(ish) distributor whose list I'm not on, so it's still a long wait on this end.
Bummer.
Lots of nice stuff in the meantime, thankfully.
Indeed. My BAFTA screeners have started trickling in.
I do believe we've caught each other online...
And excellent! Calendar's very full for the next few weeks. Now, to find time to actually write about everything...
Finally saw Wild Things last night, too. Big, big fan. Even more understated than I'd expected.
It's always a great time of year.
Glad you liked WTWTA. I'm meant to be doing something with Spike next week, and am very excited.
Oh, wow. So looking forward to being pointed in the direction of the fruits of that!
