Yeah, I like this one too. It kinda grows on you the more times you watch it. The film had a troubled production history but I do like the final product and there are some truly creepy shots throughout the film. And, as always, Carpenter's use of the widescreen aspect ratio is incredible.

I know he went back and punched up the kills but I think there's an air of malevolence and menace in this that's genuinely creepy.
And if anyone wants further proof how good The Fog really is, they should go watch the remake which is scary in a completely different way...
