I love this film as well. It has its fans (small in number, I'm sure) and has developed something of a cult following over the years.
I'm a bit obsessed with it and can remember seeing it opening weekend when it came out. I love the way Walter Hill directed and edited this film. It has his trademark no-nonsense pacing.
And how can you go wrong with the pairing of Michael Pare and Diane Lane? Pare's career never really recovered from the commercial failure of this film and no one has really been able to utilize his limited range as well since.

I remember seeing this at London's Empire. Big screen. Big sound. Big grin.
It's got a great cast. Dafoe, Moranis et al.
Glad I'm not the only one showing it some love.
