Doomsday trailer

I really like Neil Marshall. He's a lovely bloke and a talented filmmaker. Dog Soldiers was great fun and The Descent was just terrific. With his latest, Doomsday, it looks like Neil was channelling Escape From New York, Mad Max and 28 Days Later while writing the script. Doomsday is out in March. Click the headline to watch the trailer.

I love Marshall as a filmmaker. I reckon this looks quite daft but potentially awesome.

Picked up my tix for Cloverfield tomorrow night during my lunch break. Excellent.

And hey, you know what? About a week ago I picked up the January issue of Fangoria as I noticed it had a Sweeney article and managed to remain completely oblivious to the fact you wrote it until today. An excellent read, I enjoyed it very much. Your on-set experience makes all the difference compared to the slew or articles we've been getting from people who simply attended the same junket. Most impressed.

Why thank you. I forgot to post something about the Fango article when it appeared in late December and then just forgot about it.

and with that comment, we all laugh about the "forgetful brits" theme that now runs through this post and the new "what the #$@!" post.

I was going to write something witty in response, but I've forgotten what it was...
