I felt a little sorry for the Germans given they've been the most entertaining team so far. But then again, winning the World Cup means being best at each and every stage and they can have no complaints about last night.
I think given how many Germany shipped past England, Australia and Argentina in previous matches, last night showed how well Spain played. Italy were always the masters of the slowburn approach to competition football and I think Spain have approached this World Cup in similar fashion.
I'm going for Spain in the final, obviously, although I've always had a soft spot for the Dutch. Whoever wins, football will be the victor...
Nice to see Spain make it past the Germans.... also, nice to have two teams in the final who have never won the World Cup before! Amazing... I like players on both teams so I'll be really happy no matter who wins. They both deserve it.
