Stranded

After being stranded in Spain since Saturday because of that damn volcano ash business, I finally made it back to the UK yesterday evening, having driven through half of Spain and all of France in two days, safe but completely knackered.

Posting will resume its normal schedule soon, but judging by the disappointing dearth of comments recently, I'm wondering if anybody's still reading...

I for one am still lurking. Just waiting for more TRON LEGACY-related postings. ; )

Have you seen the new stills the LA Times published of INCEPTION? Man, I can't wait for that film to come out.

I did. And I'm salivating more each day for that one. Now I know that didn't sound too pretty, but I think you catch my drift.

As for Tron, let's see what we can do...

I'm still reading too...

You must be cursing Vulcan, or whoever it is you curse for volcanoes going off...

@ Adam (and JD)

Glad to know.

everyone has left. please abandon this project post-haste and get back to your first, true, love of pressing flowers and collecting rare beetles.

How did you know about the beetles?

Still about here, too! Arrived home yesterday and finally had the chance to tuck into the Alice book. Sterling stuff (though I'd expected nothing less). Still never managed to catch the film a second time. Might have to see if it's still showing here...

Glad to hear you're home safe and well, too.

Yep, still reading too! Lack of comment isn't due to lack of interest but lack of time I'm afraid!
Hope you had a good time in Spain before the volcano business!
Saw the french edition of your book in the store the other day, and it's amazing! the pictures are extraordinary... as soon as the next paychek is in my pocket, I'll grab a copy!

Now, what do you think about the Cannes Film Festival selection? Are you going?

The selection looks okay but doesn't thrill me, I have to say. I wish they were showing the Malick.

I may go for a few days, but haven't decided yet.
