Doctor Who?

Matt Smith, that's who. The 26-year-old actor is the youngest to pilot the Tardis and takes over from David Tennant next year.

So, no black doctor then?
It's true that he's very young, and he will have a awfull lot to do if he want to be as good and as fresh and original as David Tennant.... but I think he will do well. Have you seen the christmas special?

I thought they might go for a black doctor or even a woman but the guy seems to have that otherworldliness that all the good Doctors have had. I liked this year's Xmas special but it's typical RTD, more bluster than substance. I've been impressed with how he managed to make the show essential viewing again but Stephen Moffat has written some great episodes. Did you ever see his Blink? Brilliant...

I indeed saw it, and loved it. Do you know that Moffat's writting most of the fith season's episode? Russell T. Davies, I think, hasn't written any... but he's writing the specials for 2009. Anyway, I like both of them, even if it's true that RTD is writting more "classic" episode with "classic" aliens... far from Blink, or from the Librairy, which are more complex!
