That's true this trailer tends to present us the character as the Matrix one....Are the story following the same outlines, without the sun glasses? Possibly...
I didn't know that Danny Elfman making a song (or the score?) for this movie!
You're not the only one looking forward to this movie. Once I got my head around the fact that it was going to be nothing like the comic book, I've been more and more wowed by every new trailer. I was a huge fan of Night Watch (in fact, I even wrote the production notes) and Timur has a remarkable gift for kinetic action as well as the ability to wrestle so much from such miniscule budgets...
And no, didn't know about the Elfman connection until you mentioned it.
Yeah, I'm stoked for this one too. That train sequence was insane! As you said, it looks cooler and cooler with each progressive trailer. I'm really curious to see what Timur can do with a Hollywood action film.
I'm looking forward to this despite conflicting info on whether or not it's going to be like the comic book. Millar is a friend of mine so been excited to see this for some time.
Out of interest, how did you get into writing production notes?
Production notes are normally written by the unit publicist during or shortly after production based on interviews they've conducted during filming. I've been asked by film companies and distributors at various stages down the years to help out with notes, either a) when a film's been picked up and there were no notes provided, b) when notes needed rewriting and c) during production to help out a busy publicist. There isn't really a way to get into writing them I'm afraid.

I'm about the only person I know who is dead excited for this. Heard the new Elfman song from the soundtrack? It's great!
