I won't bore you with why I liked Iron Man better than The Dark Knight. Rather, I'll ask you to feast your eyes on this trailer. Let's see: Iron Man? Check. Explosions? Check? Scarlett's Black Widow? Check. Whiplash? Check. War Machine? Check. OK, we're good.

Who else thinks it's not going to be as good as the first one? even with the eyecandy presented in the trailer?
Yeah, as another site said, it may suffer from the SPIDER-MAN 3 syndrome -- too many bad guys. Still, Downey looks like he's having a blast and the War Machine armor looks pretty bad-ass.
Spidey 3 was bad for many reasons, not just the surfeit of villains. And Batman Begins had quite a few, remember, and that worked just fine.
You are correct re: BATMAN BEGINS. That is certainly the exception, though. And, even though it happened on the first IRON MAN, they started without a finished script on this one as well. Still, I'll be there opening night. Looks like fun.
I have a feeling this summer might be one to remember for all the right reasons. What with this, Inception, Toy Story 3...
