Another one I didn't feel as much as everyone else seems to have! Liked very much, but didn't truly come alive until the final act for me, which I thought wholly outshone the rest of the (admittedly very clever and entertaining) film.

It does indeed have a great final act. And I have to say I both liked and didn't like the ending. By that I mean I was thrilled it didn't tie things up in a bow. But by the same token, I was totally bummed out for Ryan when he turns up in Chicago and... [EDITED FOR SPOILERS]

Again, I agree with Gerard-it's not THAT good! But it is very enjoyable-great chemistry between the two leads. Nicely shot by Reitman.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's the greatest movie ever made, but it's smart, enjoyable, well acted, adult cinema — the kind Hollywood doesn't really make much of anymore. And for that, I applaud it...
