Carey Mulligan in black and white

I have already gone on record about how good an actress I believe this young lady is. And her picking up the Best Actress Oscar for An Education is, for many Oscar pundits, a certainty. She's sure to be nominated, and if she were to win, well, I wouldn't complain.

She's amazing in An Education and I think she's going to be amazing in Never Let Me Go.

She's got it all, this one.

I keep forgetting she's in Never Let Me Go, despite being pleasantly surprised by Sally Hawkins' appearance in An Education for that very reason. Brilliant.

Loved her in An Education. It releases here in a couple of weeks. Would happily check it out again.

She's the lead in Never Let Me Go. It's her film, effectively.

That it is. I was really disarmed by the novel, and she should make a marvellous Ruth.

She's Kathy. Keira's Ruth.

I did know that. At least I didn't call her Tommy...

Although she's talented enough to play Tommy, too.
